The Pink Place
The Pink Place (and The Blue Space for men) provides FREE wellbeing services, support, counselling and Mindfulness to adults affected by cancer, from initial diagnosis, throughout treatment and beyond. The following are examples of some of the amazing feedback we received as we kept our services going during the COVID-19 pandemic:
Lesley – “I just wanted to say that the Pink Place has been a lifesaver to me during this awful time. The regular virtual coffee mornings have been such a big part of my life through all of this, giving me something else to focus on rather than my cancer. Being able to talk to others in the same situation & hear how they are coping & just to have a laugh with them has helped me so much. Knowing that you are there for us, even on the bad days is just wonderful. I can’t thank you enough for all that you do”
Rob – “I am indebted to you. You give me a reason to get out of bed each morning and face the day ahead. I don’t know what would have happened to me during this time, particularly when dark thoughts creep in.
If you would like to support us by running on behalf of The Pink Place, we would love to hear from you. Email us at info@thepinkplace.org.uk or call us on 07899 970841. We will be there on the day to cheer everyone on their way!
