As part of Basingstoke Business Week 2026 (Skills for the Future, 9–13 November), we’re hosting the Basingstoke Skills Summit, a half-day flagship event bringing together local SMEs, major employers, educators and the council to tackle the town’s most pressing skills challenges. The day will include a keynote on the workforce of the future from a senior government representative, a panel discussion on closing the skills gap, networking opportunities and breakout sessions covering themes like AI and apprenticeships. The Summit will be opened and closed by Luke Murphy MP.
