

Innovation for Growth Award
This award is open to any business offering an innovative, product, process or service that pushes the boundaries and uses innovation as the driver for growth.
Businesses continue to be faced with a unique set of challenges and changes and with rising inflation, in this ‘new normal’ we are all living, this looks set to continue for some time.
This has however presented businesses with opportunities to identify innovative ways to grow their business through products, services, workplace culture and processes.
Entries will be judged on the following criteria:
- Results of the innovative solution must give the business a competitive advantage.
- The business must demonstrate impressive and innovative product development or route to market.
- The business has established new methods of interaction with customer base and evidence of customer satisfaction.
- The business demonstrates an innovative workplace culture which has resulted in improvements in efficiency or significant employee engagement contributing to the success of the business.
To enter the Inspire Awards your business must pay business rates to one of the following local authorities:
- Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council
- Test Valley Borough Council
- Rushmoor Borough Council
- Hart District Council

The award will be presented to an organisation who has demonstrated the innovative ways they have grown their business.

Inspire Awards Entry Guidelines
- Entries for the INSPIRE will close on 6th March 2023
- Judging takes place once entries have closed when finalists from each category are chosen.
- Selected finalists will be invited to a media event (27 March 2023 TBC)
- Unsuccessful entrants will be informed by email
- Finalists will have a 30-minute meeting with judges (17-19 April TBC) before a decision on the winner is made
- The INSPIRE business awards judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Due to the number of entries, feedback on individual entries cannot be given.
- Winners will be announced at the awards evening on 16th July 2023. All receive a free ticket to attend
- Each entry has a 1000 word limit, this is split across each of the questions.
- We recommend that you write your entry in a saved document then cut and paste it into the entry form
- Finalists and winners must be willing to talk to the media about their business achievements.
- Your business must pay (if required to do so) business rates to one of the following local authorities: Test Valley Borough Council Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council Rushmoor Borough Council Hart District Council
- Please do not send additional supporting documents to your entry
- You should receive an email confirmation that your entry has been received, please contact us if you do not receive a confirmation
