Calling Local Artists
We are looking for talented Hampshire based artists that would like to be considered for a commission to design and paint one of our Hogs.
The deadline for artists’ submissions has now past. Thank you to all the artists that responded to the brief – we have been overwhelmed with fantastic designs, givng our sponsors a wonderful choice, unfortunately, not all can be selected.

Well-known local artist, Sian Storey, has already helped us by painting a small Hog to help you see how your Hog can provide an inspirational canvas for imaginative and colourful designs.
We are excited to invite any talented Hampshire based artists to get involved.
Submit a suitable design or designs that will form part of a portfolio to be presented to the event sponsors in May 2021. Should your design be selected, we will commission you to paint the design on one of the full sized Hampshire Hogs.
The fee of £400 will be paid on completion of the Hog (if required, 30% can be paid on commission, 70% on completion).
You will be acknowledged on the plaque which accompanies each hog and details of your design inspiration and name will appear in the app and on the website etc.
Becoming a Hampshire Hog artist is a great way to increase your exposure to a wide audience and become associated with a very high profile project that is aiming to help the recovery from the pandemic by supporting local businesses, artists and injecting some colour and fun back into life in our town, we would love you to be part of it!
