In the event of runners being eligible for more than one prize they will only be awarded the higher value prize (except for course record). A corporate team is classified as a team running under a business name, and the named business has at least 30 employees.

In 2018, a new course record will be set as the race will be run in the opposite direction to previous years so this counts as a different course, the current record (for 2011 to 2017) is 1:04:09 set in 2012 by Andrew Lesuuda.

Overall winners’ prizes will be presented immediately after the race (around 1pm), category and team winners will be notified after the event and will be invited to a prize giving ceremony to be hosted by the Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane in October, or will be posted if unable to attend.
