Bin collections over Christmas

Rubbish and recycling collection crews will be working on Saturdays to catch up on changes over the Christmas break, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council has announced.

Christmas can mean extra rubbish, for example wrapping paper can’t be recycled. Therefore, in the first collection after Christmas ONLY extra sacks will be collected. Unless adverse weather affects bin rounds, collections should return to normal from Monday 14 January.
