Jane Austen's House in the village of Chawton, tells the story of Jane Austen and her family. Last year saw the beginning of a new era for the house with the opening of a new learning centre, a restored and recreated kitchen, new audio visual presentation, exhibition about TV and film adaptations, new shop and entry area.

The visitor experience is now better than ever before, with a range of events, exhibitions and activities.
